An interpretation of the traditional Oriental style in which Aoud is often presented is transformed it into an utterly contemporary Chyprè accord. This composition forms around central duet of Musk and Aoud, where a delicate note of Rose de Mai is made dry and natural by an abundance of woods and mosses. A rich and sensual base of Tonka Bean and Ambrette fused with leather-like Labdanum heightens the aphrodisiacal nature of one of perfumery’s most legendary materials - Musk. Totally unexpected and yet utterly compulsive, Musk Aoud pays homage to tradition whilst creating its own distinct path forward.
