Molecule 05, Cashmeran, by Essentrics Molecules is a dry radiant, warm and woody perfume with an unexpected hint of pine resin. That gave the perfumer the idea to create a different kind of summer fragrance. "I wanted to evoke the feeling of a day by the sea, but not with the usual marine notes that I find too artificial. Instead, I wanted to create the experience of an island in the Mediterranean, like the island where I spent so many summers. What strikes you when you walk the path from the sea is how the heat changes plants and trees: they become dry, resinous and aromatic."
